What is True Worship?
In the Service of Jesus Christ
America’s departure and Germany’s future—Comments on News and Prophecy, August 8, 2020
The decision to remove some 12,000 troops out of Germany is a “sign—not a good—one of what lies ahead.” Almost half of Germans welcome the withdrawal of US troops, showing that the relationship between Germany and the USA has never been that good… but it is getting worse. At the same time, what will happen to Germany when, as prophesied, it is being attacked with nuclear weapons, and could China, Russia and Iran play a decisive role in that regard?
Overcoming Fear
Fear is something that has been talked about and warned about for many years. The world is in a present state of fear. What does God expect us to do? Will we obey Him and what He commands or will we give in to fear?
The Rise and Fall of the Beast
The Old Testament Book of Habakkuk contains prophecies for our time. It predicts the rise of the modern Chaldeans under a political and military leader, the beast, to destroy the modern descendants of the ancient houses of Israel and Judah. We are also told that God will use the modern Medes to destroy the end-time Babylonian system. In spite of all the terrible warnings of worldwide destruction, the Book of Habakkuk contains a message of hope and encouragement for His people and the reassurance of God’s righteousness and unlimited almighty power.
Still the Same Day!
Those who pretend that Sunday is the day to observe instead of the true Sabbath are themselves nothing more than pretend Christians, and the Word of God proves it!
Future, Fear, Focus, Faith
The Bible instructs us to seek the future Kingdom of God. But we know that perilous times will lead up to that future point in time. What can we do to endure the trials that we have yet to face?
The Proximity of Outrage
Righteous anger is a godly trait and not all outrage should be considered sin. The degree to which our anger is the manifestation of the old self or of the new creation determines whether on not we are falling into sin. By not allowing this society’s violence to influence us, we can walk in the light of truth while growing ever closer to God.
Contrasting Cities
In this sermonette, we will consider what God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, have in store with the blessed city of life: the New Jerusalem. This is in contrast to what man is capable of, when reviewing, for example, CHAZ and later CHOP in Seattle. In the best case, humans can strive to do good—but only the Father and His Son are able to deliver the city of love and light that we crave.
