Our annual Church Conference, to be held in San Diego, California, will begin on Friday, March 20^th and conclude on Tuesday, March 24, 2015.

A new promotional endeavor featuring the StandingWatch program about Easter is being implemented. This is the second broad-based media activity we are using to call attention to our message and the many aspects of the Work of the Church.

“Russia and Iran in Prophecy,” the opening message from last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Terrible things are happening in Russia and Iran, but the Western world seems to be oblivious to these traumatic events. Opponents to Vladimir Putin are convinced that he is directly or at least indirectly responsible for the murder of Boris Nemtsov, and the numerous “unusual events” surrounding his murder and the many examples of prior murders of Putin’s opponents seem to support their reasoning. The Bible tells us very clearly what is about to happen in and pertaining to Russia, as well as its proxy, Iran, and why many governmental leaders seem to be sound asleep.

Nominal Christianity believes that either you will go to heaven or hell when you die. But is this understanding correct, based on what the Bible has to say about the subject? “Listen to Netanyahu!” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Many have criticized Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his address to the American Congress. However, his warnings against Iran were extremely important and very convincing. This program quotes and analyzes some of his major statements and points out what is in store for Israel, Iran, America and the rest of the world. We are offering two free booklets, “The Fall and Rise of Britain and America,” and “Middle Eastern and African Nations in Bible Prophecy.”

“The Mystery of the Holy Spirit”–the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link — is now posted. Here is a summary:

Who gives us the Holy Spirit? In what way is the Holy Spirit “one”? Who resides in true Christians? Is the Holy Spirit a person? The Bible many times uses figurative language when referring to the Holy Spirit. Still, why are descriptions used which seem to imply personhood and conscious activities of the Holy Spirit? Are we unduly restricting and misunderstanding some of those passages?

“Erfolgreiche Gebete um Erlösung vom Bösen,” is the title of this week’s German sermon. It covers successful prayers for deliverance from evil.

A new marketing campaign that will include press releases and Facebook ads has begun. “When and How Will Christ Return?” is the first featured publication, with other aspects of the work of the Church, such as StandingWatch, to follow. September Danforth-Prentice, with a background in media support, is helping in this endeavor as the Church seeks an even broader audience for the message we must proclaim.

“HEAVENS AND EARTH…BEFORE AND AFTER THE FIRST MAN!” has been sent to graphic designer, Shelly Bruno, to finalize for printing. We anticipate that this newest booklet, written by Norbert Link, will be available in April.

“War Is a Solution to Nothing!” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Why is war so wrong? Why is it a curse in God’s eyes? Two of many examples given in this program show beyond a doubt why God is totally opposed to man’s fighting in war.

“Erfolgreiche Gebete um Schutz vor Versuchung!” is the new German sermon for this coming Sabbath. This new sermon continues the series on successful prayers, covering in this installment the request,” … do not lead us into temptation,” and it points out why this rendering is wrong, and what Jesus actually meant with His statement. Title in English: “Successful Prayers for Protection from Temptation.”

A new Member Letter (February 20, 2015) has been written by Eric Rank. In this letter Mr. Rank addresses Christian growth—both the good and fruitful growth from God’s Holy Spirit and that kind of bad growth which occurs when we drift from the Truth of God.

“WHY America’s and Europe’s Betrayal of Ukraine?” is the title of a new StandingWatch program presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

The last “cease-fire” agreement pertaining to Ukraine is dead, and the war in Ukraine continues. Europe is accused of following an appeasement policy towards Vladimir Putin’s Russia, as the Allies did towards Adolph Hitler in regard to Czechoslovakia. America is accused of “disengagement,” “weakness” and unproductive “strategic patience.” Vladimir Putin is looked upon as the only winner who wants to annex more countries and who is quite successful in pushing the US and Europe further and further apart. The West stands condemned as having broken an international treaty promising to protect Ukrainian territorial integrity. WHY is all of this happening? Is God working out a plan which brings about end-time prophecies?

“Crusades and Inquisition Justifiable?” is the title of another StandingWatch program, presented by Mr. Link. Here is a summary:

President Obama’s controversial comparison at a prayer breakfast meeting between ISIL’s demonical murders and “Christian” atrocities has prompted some prominent Catholics to “justify” the crusades and to “explain” the inquisition. These are alarming and deeply disturbing developments, in light of biblical prophecy.

“Erfolgreiche Gebete… um Brot und Sündenvergebung,” is the title of this week’s German sermon. This continues our series on successful prayers. This installment is titled, “Successful Prayers… for Bread and Forgiveness of Sin.”

“Dreams and Visions,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Robb Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

The Press and Newscasts are making a meal of the story of “measles outbreak” in the USA. Scientists and lawyers argue that parents who don’t vaccinate their children should go to jail; that they always commit a tort; and that they are making a negligent, unreasonable and reckless decision under the law. President Obama stated that there is no reason to not vaccinate, while Senator Rand Paul wants to give parents the freedom to decide. What are the facts? Are vaccines harmless? “The Shield of Faith,” last Sabbath’s sermon by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Ephesians 6:16 commands us to take the shield of faith, as an important part of the armor of God, which will enable us to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. “Dealing With Invisible Voices!” is the title of a new StandingWatch Program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

According to the Independent, a British paper, “up to one in 25 people hears voices regularly,” and “up to 40 per cent of the population will hear voices at some point in their lives.” While traditional psychiatry tries to silence those voices through strong medication, resulting in dangerous side-effects, others advocate a dialogue with those voices to calm them down.  What about these two different approaches? History includes many examples of people who claim that they heard voices and had visions, but can it really be true? If there are such voices, what is their origin? Is there a 7,000 year plan for mankind’s salvation which corresponds to the creation week described in Genesis, or is there more? In it, Mr. Link reminds everyone of the approaching Passover and Days of Unleavened Bread and includes information about the Feast of Tabernacles, which will be observed in Templin, Germany. In addition, two new German booklets dealing with the Sabbath and the Holy Days have been translated and are offered in this letter.

“The Pope Has No Answer!” is the title of a new StandingWatch Program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

During his travel to the Philippines, Pope Francis made some startling and unsettling comments. He warned Catholics not to breed like rabbits; admitted that he has no answer to the question of a little girl why children suffer; and said in response to the terrorist attack in France that one cannot make fun of faith without expecting a punch, and that every religion has its dignity. Why are all these comments deeply disturbing? We are offering our free booklet, “Human Suffering–Why… and How Much Longer?”

“Der Papst Hat Keine Antwort!” is the title of the German language AufPostenStehen program covering the same topic as above.

“Neu! Die Fehlenden Jahre im Wirken Christi,” is the new German sermon. It addresses the false concept of an end-time “7-year-contract” and discusses Christ’s public ministry for the remaining 3 1/2 years after His return. Title in English: “The Missing Years in Christ’s Ministry.”

“The Helper,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Eric Rank, is now posted. Here is a summary:

In the days leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, He told His disciples that a Helper would be sent after He left them. What is the Helper that Jesus talked about? How can It work in your life?

We do not know when we will die, but we do know that we will die. Death is inescapable, and so we need to be prepared. How will we die? Will our day of death be better than our day of birth? Will we die the death of a righteous person? Will we be blessed in death? Will death have lost its sting for us? Will the crown of life await us?

Global Trailer 24 – “Baptism – A Requirement for Salvation,” has been presented by Pastor Brian Gale. Here is a summary:

We have presented in this booklet the biblical proof that water baptism through immersion is a necessary requirement for salvation. Without it, there is no promise in the Bible of receiving God’s Holy Spirit, and without God’s Spirit dwelling in us, we are not true Christians, and God will not grant us His gift of everlasting life in His Kingdom.
