We are discussing the repercussions of the US Supreme Court decision, overturning Roe v. Wade, resulting in national and international condemnation from some and praise from others; and we are reflecting on the fact that this country is divided as never before in recent history, with the strong possibility of a “legal civil war.”
We address the sober realization that the USA is no longer a great and influential nation; and that the violence and “insurrection” occurring now is not much different from what happened on January 6, 2021.
We also speak on a court decision regarding public prayer; the outbreak of monkeypox; developments in Germany regarding abortion; Putin’s decision to send nuclear-capable missiles to Belarus; the dangerous expansion of NATO; the fear that no one would come to Israel’s defense; Germany’s military ambitions; and the gathering of seven weak and controversial “leaders” at the G-7 summit in Germany.
We conclude with a very sarcastic piece by Piers Morgan about the prospects of a US presidency under Kamala Harris.
