FOT Opening Night: Coming Out of This World… Why and How?
The Bible tells us that we must leave this rotten world of Satan behind and that we are instead pilgrims, strangers and ambassadors for Christ. The consequences for us in regard to the evils of this world and what is in it, including selfish desires, its politics, corrupt leaders, false philosophies, terrible wars and deceiving religions are wide-ranging, but many are confused about God’s directives. Likewise, our desire for God’s Kingdom to be restored on earth can be overshadowed and clouded, if we are not careful, by the knowledge of the pain and suffering which the Great Tribulation will bring first. It is vital for our salvation that we have the right understanding in this regard.
Fight Like Christians
The world relies on war to bring about peace, but that is not the way to achieve it. God never intended wars to be fought in the first place, as the Bible explains, but we are to be peacemakers. We do however fight against the god of this world. What do we need to do so we can be victorious?
What Is Prophesied for the State of Israel?
The Bible shows us what did and will happen to the nation and the state of Israel, including before and during the Great Tribulation and the Day of the Lord, and after Christ’s Return. Or is every sin wrong and an abomination in God’s eyes? What does God call sin and an abomination anyway? And what does God say who will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Why does God designate certain character traits as “most important” in the law? And do you love God and neighbor when you break the spiritual law of the Ten Commandments?
